Conjures fey creatures to aid the caster.
Call Woodland Beings Edit
Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid spell.
|Level: 4||School: Conjuration/Summoning|
|Components: V, S, M (mistletoe, a pinecone, and 8 holly berries)|
|Range: 12" + 1"/level||Casting Time: special|
|Duration: special||Saving Throw: Negates|
The caster puts out a call for fey creatures to come to their aid. The caster can maintain the call for up to 2 turns, or the call ends when some creature responds. If any of the following creatures are in range, they are allowed a saving throw at -4. If they fail, they arrive to assist the caster, giving whatever aid they are capable of giving. If the caster requests combat, the creatures can make a loyalty check to see if they assent.
- 2d4 Brownies
- 1d4 Centaurs
- 1d4 Dryads
- 1d8 Pixies
- 1d4 Satyrs
- 1d6 Sprites
- 1 Treant
- 1 Unicorn
If the caster, or any member of the party, is evil, the summoned creatures get another saving throw at +4 when they are within 1" of the group -- if the save is successful, the creature will seek to escape.
DM's Advice: Typically, one should know if any of these creatures are in range, but if a random chance is desired, consult the table below. Add +1% for each level of the druid where there is any % possibility. Check in order, rolling for each type, and if none are indicated by the end, then no beings are within range.
