"Arctic" creatures are creatures that exist in any primarily cold natural environment. This can include arctic aquatic regions with glaciers and icebergs, arctic plains with vast, unending snowfields, arctic forests of conifers and mosses, arctic swamps that are cold moors or icy marshlands, or arctic moutnains, signifying that region of snow and ice above the treeline.

Few natural creatures reside in arctic environments, and those that do tend to have some protection against the cold, snow, and ice of their homeland. They also tend to be largely interested in meeting basic needs, such as food and mates.

Supernatural creatures, such as fey, are much more common, and reside on more esoteric things than food and water.

In addition to the creatures below, residents of the Plane of Ice frequently find the arctic regions fairly hospitable.
