Shadow asps are serpents made of shadow. They are created by priests of Osiris, Set, or Nephythys to guard the tombs of the dead. Silent and stealthy, they attack intruders, turning them into shadows, who, now bound to this location, wind up improving the defenses of the crypt. Highly territorial, but otherworldly and immortal, they make ideal guardians for the dead.
