Goats are herd animals that dwell in dry, rocky places of the world. Famously able to ingest almost anything, they have been domesticated for their wool, milk, and meat, but substantial wild populations still remain. They are close relatives of domestic and wild sheep.
Similar to sheep, most goats prefer to escape combat, fleeing up rocky paths (which they manage with excellent agility) rather than choosing to stand and fight. If ill-tempered, a goat may bite or charge, using their horns to inflict some painful wounds on those unprepared for the attack.
