Creates an illusion of forested wilderness.
Original D&D Edit
The spell first appeared in Supplement 3: Eldritch Wizardry, for the druid.
- Spell Level 4
- Range 6" to nearest edge
Each creature in an area 3" square per level of the caster believe that it is in a forest, and acts accordingly. The illusion doesn't deceive magical forest creatures, ents, or other druids. The illusion lasts until dispelled, or until the reverse of this spell is cast on it, undoing it.
Hallucinatory Forest Edit
Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid spell.
|Level: 4||School: Illusion/Phantasm|
|Components: V, S, M (mistletoe)|
|Range: 8"||Casting Time: 6 segments|
|Duration: Permanent||Saving Throw: None|
|Area: 4" square/level|
The caster creates an illusory forest that covers the area. Only creatures in touch with the nautral world such as druids, centaurs, dryads, green dragons, nymphs, satyrs, and treans will recognize the illusion.
DM's Advice: Touching the illusion does not reveal it to be false and does not dispel the magic.
The reversed form of this spell is entirely used to dispel illusions the spell creates.
