Turns metal objects into wood, permanently.

Original D&D[]

Debuted in Supplement 3: Eldritch Wizardry, for the druid.

  • Spell Level: 7
  • Range: 6"

If the target fails their save, the metal is transmuted into wood. The amount that can be transmuted is equal to 50 GP per druid level. (note: the original text says "SO gold pieces times the level of the druid." This is interpreted here to mean 50 gold pieces).

AD&D[]
