Creates a magical obstacle that knocks creatures over who attempt to cross it.
Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid spell.
|Level: 2||School: Enchantment/Charm|
|Components: V, S, M (mistletoe)|
|Range: Touch||Casting Time: 4 segments|
|Duration: 1 turn/level||Saving Throw: Negates|
|Target: The touched object, which must be 10' long.|
The target of this spell can be some vine, stick, pole, rope, or similar object. When the spell is cast, the object rises slightly, and begins to blend with its surroundings (80% undetectable without magical detection). Creatures who step through the object's space must make a saving throw, or be tripped. Very large creatures are immune, and creatures who are aware of the target have a +4 bonus on their save. Running creatures who fall on hard ground take 1d6 damage and are stunned for 1d4+1 rounds -- falling on soft ground only stuns the creature. The spellcaster and their allies are not immune to the trip -- the object will also try to trip them if they cross it.
