Turn Wood Edit
Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid spell.
|Level: 6||School: Alteration|
|Components: V, S, M (mistletoe)|
|Range: 0||Casting Time: 8 segments|
|Duration: 4 rounds/level||Saving Throw: None|
|Area: 12" wide path, 2" long/level|
Waves of force emenating out from the caster turn wood and wooden objects away at a rate of 4"/round. Once the spell is cast, the path is set, and will not move with the caster. Wooden objects greater than 3 inches in diameter that are firmly fixed to the terrain will not be affected, but loose objects are pushed back. Wooden objects of less than 3 inches in diameter that are fixed will splinter and break, with the spinters moving back along the path. Thus, shields, spears, weapons with wooden shafts or hafts, and wooden projectiles like arrows and bolts will be pushed away, and planted spear swill splinter and break.
DM's Advice: This spell affects magic items with wooden sections as well. Anti-magic shells protect from this spell, and a dispel magic has the normal odds of ending its effects.
